Spring time is finally here which means beautiful pastel nail polish colors!
I picked out the colors that I thought would be great for spring from my collection and decided to share them with you. Some of the colors you might not be able to find in stores but thats the beauty of the internet.
From left to right: revlon flirt, revlon blue lagoon, essie van d go, essie a crewed interest, essie lilacism, essie turquoise and cacaos, orly lollipop, orly cotton candy.
Here is a close up of the names. I think the best brand for spring time color nail polish is essie because they have a lot of soft pastel colors. They have a very large range of colors and I find they run on the more pastel side whereas other brands like opi have darker richer colors. Essie is one of my favorite nail polish brands.
I love nail polish and I am always in the market for new colors! Comment below and let me know what your favorite colors for spring are. I am starting to buy colors from zoya so if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them!
Here are pictures of some the the new collections for spring that some nail polish brands have released already.
Orly cool romance collection
OPI holland collection
Zoya true collection
Essie spring 2012
China glaze electro pop
It looks like for spring the new trend is going to be neon!
Today I went to the mall and popped into sephora to look around. I found myself in front of the YSL display looking at the lip products. I always in blogs and on youtube how people love their beautifully packaged rouge volupte lipsticks. They are $34 and thats too much for me to spend on a lipstick personally so I would try to stay away. Well today I did some swatting and boo was that a mistake! The rouge volupte lipsticks are so amazing!! They like melted into my skin! They were so soft and creamy I couldn't believe it!
I then found their gloss stains and found this gorgeous light pink! Its the only stain of a light pink I have ever found and its what I have been searching for! They are $32 also which is pricey for me :(
Here is my swatches, aren't they gorgeous colors!? Im torn because I don't want to spend that much money on one product but they are so unique!
Do you own any YSL lip products and if so what are your favorites??
I decided to do post on some of my favorite nude lipsticks! My collection of lipsticks consists of nudes and pinks so it was hard for me to only choose a few! I think I narrowed it down to my favorites.
From left to right: Revlon nude attitude, mac creme de nude, mac blankety, Rimmel 14, Nars belle de jour, and mac hue.
My favorite type of lipstick finish is a creamy one. All of these except the revlon one have that cream finish with no shimmer. The revlon nude attitude is a matte color but there still is a little gloss to it. I love these creamy lipsticks because I don't need to pair a gloss with it!

I hope this post gave you some ideas on some nude lipsticks to try! Comment below and tell my your favorite nude lipstick! I love to try new colors!
Thanks for reading and don't forget to follow me to stay up to date with my posts!
I have a bunch of different brand black eyeliners so I thought I would compare them for you guys.
Fom left to right: MAC smolder, Urban Decay zero, Sephora, Milani black, MUFE 10, Clinique really black, Este Lauder soft smudge black, Cover girl black onyx, MAC black funk, (and not pictured until last picture) Avon blackest black
Each liner had good pigmentation but some swatch more easily then others. The easiest to swatch were MAC black funk, MAC smolder, and Covergirl black onyx. Those three eyeliners were very soft and very black. These would be great to use on the upper lash line or lower lash line.
Best liners for waterline: Urban decay zero, and MUFE 10 These liners are waterproof and will stay on your waterline the longest. I personally hate it when an eyeliner runs our of the outer corner of my eye. For me the sephora liner and the two mac liners ran the worst for me on my waterline.
Best smudge: The este lauder soft smudge black was the easiest to smudge because it was made to do it. This liner would be great for a smudgy smokey eye look on the top or the bottom lash line.
I am a Mark representative and when I saw this in my new catalogue I had to pick it up! It looks so gorgeous that I don't want to touch it. It is a illuminator or highlighter that you can use just as a cheek highlight or all over glow.
This illuminator has four different strips of color and then a purple butterfly in the center.
It retails for $16
The purple butterfly is just on top so it will come off after a couple of uses. In the picture above I swiped my finger over all four colors. This can also be used as a gorgeous shimmer eyeshadow.
You can pick this up online or from your local mark representative.
